Service Description

After driving through prime kiwifruit country and towards the Volcanic Plateau in nearby Rotorua, you will enjoy a short stop at the stunning Blue Lake. We then move on to the iconic Lake Tarawera. You will see ancient Māori rock drawings, and learn about the history of the world famous Pink and White Terraces and the Tarawera eruption. Take a walk, or just chill out at the cafe by the lake. Make sure you take your camera, as this is a truly spectacular location. Next we visit the stunning Secret Spot Hot Tubs and enjoy a relaxed lunch stop. Simply grab a bite and a drink and soak your feet, wander the grounds, or book your own private Hot Tub experience. Cold plunges and saunas are another great option for you to try. To round out our relaxing day in the hinterland, we head to the famous Redwoods Forest. Traverse the swing bridges and walkways high in the forest, and learn about this unique ecosystem. Breathe in the cool and clean air high up in the forest, and look out for native birdlife as you explore the many walkways and bridges. This is an outstanding activity, and one of our absolute favourites in the region. There is a free ground walk option if preferred. What a way to wind up your day in nature! Entry to the lake, the Redwood Forest Park and the Secret Spot Footspas is included. If you wish to experience the amazing Treetop Walk ($42Adult/$26Child) and/or the private Forest Spa session/saunas and cold plunges ($45Adult/$17Child), payment will be collected on the day. We definitely recommend you take the opportunity to partake in these exceptional experiences, however you are welcome to just take the free options too.
